                           Schedule 2010-2011


      (Subject to Change)

     Below is this year's schedule as proposed by the Bridge with input from members. We have
     also included District 2 events and any joint events with other squadrons for your
     convenience. We hope you will find this helpful for planning purposes.

    Please contact any member of the Bridge with your suggestions.

   * Bridge / Executive Committee meetings -- All Bridge/Executive Committee meetings are held at the
     Church of Good Shepherd, 547 Saratoga Road Schenectady, NY 12302
.

     Unless changed for weather or other emergency reasons, the meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month.
     They start promptly at 1800 (6 PM) and usually end by 1930 (7:30 PM).

                $10.00 for adults, $9.00 for seniors and $8.00 for children.  Explore Your Lake on the Lake and on the Land
                From the impact of earthquakes and glaciers to the impact of storm water runoff and invasive species,
                the LGA's Floating Classroom will take you on a journey from the formation of Lake George to the effects of the colonization of its shores.
                The Floating Classroom consists of two parts: A two-hour trip on the beautiful water of Lake George sampling water quality.
                The other half takes place at the Lake George Recreation Center where participants will venture to the Lake George Recreation Center
                where they will look at how various aspects of the land can affect water quality, from soil types to human influence.

     September 15 * Bridge / Executive Committee Meeting.
     September TBA - Dutch Apple - Hudson River Cruise - Rendezvous Host - Lt/C Max Gollmer - Take a Dutch Apple Cruise on the scenic and historic Hudson River, the ideal way to see the sights.
                The Dutch Apple offers you sunshine and breezes or the protection of fully enclosed and heated decks. Features of all tours include ample free parking,
                US Coast Guard inspected vessels, comfortable seating, clean restrooms, full cash bar and light refreshments.
                The Dutch Apple sails rain or shine; however cruises may be cancelled if a minimum of (20) adult passengers requirement is not reached.
                With your safety in mind we recommend low heeled or soft soled shoes. More details regarding dates and cost will be coming shortly.

                Call: Rendezvous Host: P/C John Jermano 518 377-1379RSVP and advise what dish you will be bringing to share The Great Loop , also called the American Loop or the Great Circle, is a long distance
                circumnavigation voyage that encompasses the entire eastern portion of the United States and parts of Canada, from the Atlantic Coast to the
                heartland rivers to the Gulf of Mexico depending on the route taken, the Great Loop may be from 5,000 to 7,500 miles long and is primarily in
                sheltered waters, making it one of the safest long distance cruises in the world. This voyage is undertaken by many avid sailors and cruisers,
                and as more people take up hobbies such as boating and sailing, the various routes for the Great Loop are becoming ever more popular.

                Start the year out right with a cool cruise on beautiful Lake George. View the Adirondack Mountains and the lake like you never have before. Come cruise together aboard the Shoreline Adirondac
                Frostbite New Years Day cruise for 1 ½ hours. Enjoy live entertainment, an assorted buffet menu with beer, wine and soda included. After returning to the dock, the fun continues at King Neptune's Pub.
                Sorry, this is an adult (21 years and older) only cruise. Cost and cruise boarding and departure times to follow shortly
